Life is for Living

Ok, so I admit it. I spend far too long sitting in front of my computer or watching the telly. Don’t even get me started on the amount of time I pass reading books.   It is time to get out into the real world and this is how I plan to do it.

With patio dining sets. A trip out to the patio might be a small step for mankind but it is a giant leap for a nerd like me. I like my patio but it takers something special to tempt me out there. A tropical rainstorm or a full moon might have got me out there in the past and I need to start looking for things like that again.

Would electric lawn mowers get me out and about? Well, unless I am planning to mow the tiles on my floor then they would have to. Perhaps I could get one and talk it out for a walk around the block every now and then. My dog might get jealous if I do this but he always runs and hides under the sofa whenever I try and take him out anyway.

I could always go and see some doctors in Stratford I guess. I don’t have anything wrong with me apart from a dodgy stomach and a runny nose but, hey, there’s no harm in getting a second opinion. The other problem is that I don’t even know where Stratford is. I guess I could do a bit of medical tourism while I get my sinuses and tummy checked out.

Are boat docks interesting places to pass time of an evening? I would imagine that they are great places to meet salty old sailors and pirates. I haven’t been to a good boat dock in a long time and maybe it is just what I need. I could put on my sailor’s cap and stow away in a whaler. Of course, I don’t fancy harpooning whales or getting involved in other Ahab type adventures. Still, it’ll be a nice trip I am sure.
