The arrival of a new year never seems to lose that magic thrill which it has always held for me. Don’t you just love Christmas? It has been my favourite time of year ever since I got given the Atari games console which I had been bleating about since around July. I got a bit depressed this morning when I realised that I would never live out my dream of scoring a goal in a football world cup final.
