I am just back from a staggeringly boring 20 hour bus journey across the flat and rather straight roads of Argentina. Its a great country but couldn’t they have made their motorways a bit more interesting? Anyway, to make the time pass a bit less painfully I cameĀ  up with some games to try and stop my empty head from driving me mad. Let’s see if it can help you too. First you need to.

It is some time since I heard anything about reincarnation. It was never something which I heard discussed on a daily basis but it certainly used to be a lot more commonly spoken about than it is now. So what can we say about the subject to get some debate going? Was I a Japanese garden designer in a past life? I only ask because I find myself strangely drawn to bonsai trees even when.

I clearly remember writing a few months ago about the world ending and, hey, here we still are. It seems that the Mayan calendar…ah, you already know all about that? Well, maybe an asteroid will…oh, ok. Let’s just think about what the end of the world would mean to us. There would be a lot of unused fiberglass swimming pools about the place. That’s if planet X or Nibiru or whatever it is called didn’t.

I used to see Christmas coming with a great deal of precision. The weird old guy who lived up the street from my parents would put up his creepy lights then the big shops would join in and it would be a free for all from then on in. Sadly where I live now even the weirdos don’t seem to care about putting up their Christmas decorations. This means that it tends to sneak up.

I can be modern too, you know. I might listen to more music from the 60s and 70s than could really be classed as healthy and my favourite memories might include Ataris and strangely effervescent drinks but that doesn’t mean that I can’t move with the times. Actually, I am fooling no one here and it is definitely time to try to upgrade myself to a modern version. I need contemporary floor lamps. The living.
