I love going out driving at the weekend. There aren’t actually that many places I can go from here, as the nearest city to here is about 9 hours drive away. However, there are a few villages and such like to choose from. Possibly the best choice is the pilgrimage site about 2 hours drive away (or 15 hours walk). There is a Virgin Mary statue which attracts thousands of pilgrims each year. The pilgrim.
Have you ever heard something for the first time and then realised that you had heard it before but just not paid any attention to it? Did that even make sense? What I want to say is that I heard the birds singing outside my room this morning and then was told that they sing like that every morning. I decided to open my ears for the rest of the day. What else did I.

My little girl’s birthday party went swimmingly the other day. There was a piƱata, plenty of cake, a few tears and some small bottles of soft drinks. In short, everything needed for a great kid’s party. Or is there something else I missed out? At the end of the party she seemed really tired and asked for her bed. There was no bady bedding in the place and I can’t help feeling that this would.

Have you ever considered your way of walking? I am only asking because it is something which passed fleetingly through my mind this morning. You see, one of the problems with living in a foreign country is the fact that everyone else walks differently from you. Here, they know I am a gringo just from the way I move my hips. And I don’t move them too badly if you ask me. However, it might.

Have you ever felt a burning desire to start a new life? To rip it up and start again as the song says? I did this a few years ago when I left jolly old Scotland to explore the world and ended up never going back again. However, it doesn’t take a round the world plane ticket and a rucksack full of smelly socks to change your life. Get out more. Yes, you. Don’t sit.
