What Do You Buy the Man Who Has Everything?

DISCLAIMER – Before I start I should point out that I am not the person in the title who has everything. I am pretty happy with what I have but if anyone was thinking of sending me a surprise gift then please don’t be put off by this article. Ok, where were we? Ah yes, if you know someone who has everything what could you possibly buy him? Let’s have a look through the round.

Memories of Old Friends

Isn’t it strange how a simple object can often bring memories back so strongly? Sometimes they are related to one specific person and their link to the object never seems to fade over the years. I was reminded of this fact when I was looking at cigarette lighters and remembered an uncle I haven’t seen for years.  He smoked like a chimney and even now the mere smell of burning tobacco makes me think of.

Getting the Right Gifts

I am really not that great at buying gifts for people. I always seem to come up with something inappropriate or just plain silly. For that reason I decided to plan ahead this year and get some birthday presents in early. Here are some of my ideas. Headache racks. My mum is always getting migraines and I thought I had found the ideal solution here. I pictured some sort of medieval torture instrument which stretched.

Happy Birthday Time

It is my daughter’s first birthday soon. This means that it is probably time to start looking at some presents to put a smile on her rosy cheeked face, doesn’t it? I could arrange a Mad Hatters tea party. Wouldn’t this be a great birthday party for her? To be honest I think she would prefer the characters from that kid’s show with the singing duck but I don’t even know what it’s called so.

Things I Wish I Had Been Given as a Kid

I recently wrote about some of my favourite toys, and very sad reading it made too. Don’t get my wrong, inflatable football players and pieces of scrap salvaged from bins are great. It’s just that sometimes I longed for something else. Like these things, for example…. Make Your Own Chocolate The phrase candy mold is a bit too American for me so I am going to call it a sweet maker or even a choccie.
