Time to Expand My Mind (Again)

I love learning new things. Why, only yesterday I discovered that if you add warm yoghurt to grated apple it makes a kind of mushy goo which looks a lot worse than it tastes. Is there anything else I can learn today which won’t turn my stomach?

I had genuinely never heard of Husqvarna sewing machines until 5 minutes ago. Sure, I was vaguely aware of the fact that a market exists for machines which allow one to sew in a less manual manner. However, what is this Husqvarna business all about? I have never heard of this brand but I am going to have a stab in the dark and saw that it must be Icelandic. Or maybe Bulgarian.

Can you still get a car CD cassette player? I am not being disparaging about old fashioned pieces of machinery here; I genuinely want one. I have some old cassettes here I haven’t been able to hear in ages because I don’t have a player. Well, my ancient vehicle has one but it doesn’t work. The first time I tried it the poor old Proclaimers got mangled and now I am worried that the same thing happens to Deacon Blue. On second thoughts, I would be quite happy for the same thing to happen to Deacon Blue.

Who or what are Demetrios dresses? It sounds to me like a Greek kind of thing so we are doing a bit of globe trotting today. I tend not to wear a lot of dress so my knowledge of the industry is pretty limited. In fact, the only time I ever wore a dress it was a bit of a disaster to be honest.

I have seen the phrase pink camo seat covers for a while now and been tempted to see what on earth they are all about. does camo stand for camouflage? If so, are these seat covers which led you hide on the seats when you are wearing pink? I might need get my self a pink dress to try it out now.
